I would say the main reason I really enjoy this place is how historic it is. I try to immerse myself mentally back to the late 1600’s when it was opened and imagine how different it all must have been. I suggest anyone who reads this review does this at least once. Oh, and the food here is indeed pretty good as well.

I can not wait to go back worth the trip from New Jersey.

Good food! Awesome help. We had a great waiter. Nice views if your upstairs. Very cool atmosphere. Valet parking is awesome! OWNERS ARE AWESOME!

Great service! My husband and I did the happy hour. Dirty martini was on target. We had the calamari, flat bread and cheese steak spring rolls. All was scrumptious. Calamari and flat bread could have been a little more crispier other than that this place is absolutely amazing for a romantic evening out with a special someone. Live pianist with great taste of music and all the employees were awesome. Bonus, great location on the water for nice walk after dinner and drinks.

Butternut squash soup, perfectly seadoned and creamy. The view of the river is spectacular especially on this sunny day. My husband got the prime rib French Dip, the meat was so perfect not tough like some. I got the shrimp po boy and it was delicious the dressing was a peppercorn slaw so delicious.

We had our annual Christmas dinner out and chose King George Inn for the first time. Reservation were made for 12 and they texted me 2 days prior and called me 2 hours prior to our arrival to confirm. After we arrived a realized seating needed to be for 13 not 12 and they jumped to accommodate the added seat. They placed us in a private dining room where the table was set in a large square. This made it easy to have conversations with everyone seated at the table. The service was supperb and our waitress was extremely nice and patient. I believe the consensus will be to go there again next year for dinner. This was not my first time there not will it be my last. Great job to everyone who worked last night (12/27/2027).
