Let me begin by saying that the extent of repair that was needed for our roof, and the rear wall of our house, and the main support beam that was seated just under the leak that ran down the inside of the rear wall was a huge project and scared a few contractors away. From my first meeting with Abe jr, I knew that I was dealing with pros, he listened to all of our ideas and also had a lot of good input and suggestions as well. He drew up a complete plan and was very thorough and organized in going over everything and keeping us completely involved and informed. They started the job almost immediately- Abe’s uncle John is a general contractor and he handled all of the beam replacement/foundation repair. He had to jack the whole house up. A lot of really tough work under the house- and they really made everything like new- that’s a big job when the house is 85 years old! As soon as that was done and the house was on its new foundation, the guys were here repairing and even rebuilding a good portion of my roof- it was not a simple reshingling, or even just new plywood and beams- they had to remove and rebuild a large portion of poorly designed roof that was really responsible for most of the leaking that caused the wall and structural damages. also I must commend the guys that get the work done under Abe and his dad’s leadership- ted was in charge of the day to day work and he and his guys were clean, polite, friendly and very conscientious about being professional and doing a great job. Any concerns I had I was able to go to Abe and got “we just want you guys to be happy!” I know it sounds like I am too happy about the work that they did- but I can legitimately say that they are the best! Abe brooks and his guys are great people doing great work for a fair price. What more can you ask for. And along with all this, we also had every window replaced, front and rear storm and entry doors replaced, an attic storage area set up with ceiling drop down steps, full home siding replaced with custom shingle design, new tile kitchen floor, and a complete bathroom remodel with all new plumbing, a skylight and a ton of electrical stuff. Pretty much a complete home renovation. You could say that they do it all, and I can vouch for how well they do it all! Save yourself a lot of trouble and just call Abe brooks at kangaroof for any of your home improvement needs!
